Farooq demands to India to handover the corpse of Shaheed Maqbool Bhat

MUZAFFARABAD: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has demanded Indian government to handover the corpse of Shaheed Maqbool Bhat and manage to send the dead body to Azad Kashmir or occupied Kashmir for its permanent funeral.
He was talking to media while inaugurating the modern sports complex for women here on Monday. While terming the Maqbool Bhat a hero and son of the Kashmiri nation, the AJK Premier was of the view that his sacrifices will not go waste. He said that there exist long lists of Kashmiri martyrs who have sacrificed their precious lives for the freedom of Kashmiri people from the Indian forcible occupation.
He said the two Kashmir heroes Shaheed Maqbool Bhat and Dr. Muhammad Afzal Guro fell pray of the judicial murder as they were unilaterally trailed by Indian Supreme Court while ignoring the smooth legal process and the international laws.
Raja Farooq observed that shameful and heinous act of death sentence of these two martyrs stained the Indian judicial system and it’s so called democracy.
He said the Indian authorities have turned the Kashmir valley into Army cantonment while deploying 700,000 Army troops in IHK and unleashed reign terror against unarmed Kashmiri people. The AJK PM called upon the UN and international community to move forward for the sake of humanity and take serious note of Indian atrocities and its gross human rights in IOK and play its due role in implementing the UN resolutions for giving the birth right to Kashmiri people as per their wishes and as envisaged in UN charter he asserted.
