Kuwait to ink Euro Fighter jets deal with Italy: Defence Minister

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Defence Minister claimed that Kuwait will purchase Euro fighter jets from Italy worth 7-8 billions Euro.
Italian Defence Minister will visit Kuwait to finalize the deal in next week.
Oman and Saudi Arabia are already using Euro fighter jets and now Kuwait is going to upgrade its aerial firepower.
Kuwait had also signed a deal to purchase 24 Airbus-built Caracal helicopters worth 2.5 billion Euros.
The number of jets were not announced but the Euro consortium stated that Kuwait will buy 28 fighter jets.
