Indian Cricket Board BCCI bans Pakistani Umpire Asad Rauf for 5 years

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a ban on Pakistani Umpire Asad Rauf for 5 years.
Rauf is banned for being found guilty in IPL spot fixing scandal in 2013.
BCCI committee charged Rauf for misconduct and corruption under multiple articles of BCCI Anti Corruption Code.
Rauf is banned from umpiring or playing or representing cricket in any form associated with Board and its Affiliates.
Rauf was also dropped at the ICC Champions Trophy earlier.
The meeting was held in Mumbai and Asad Rauf was absent but had already sent written statement on 8th February.
