Pakistan Cricket Team departs for South Africa tonight

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan cricket team will depart for South Africa tonight.

Sarfraz Ahmad will lead the side during the tour that will open with the first Test at Centurion from 26th of this month. The second Test will be played at Cape Town from 3rd to 7th of next month, while the third and final match is in Johannesburg from 11th to 15th of next month. According to PCB, leg-spinner Yasir Shah will join the team on Thursday next due to personal reasons.

Pakistan will also play five one-day internationals and three T20Is on the tour. Fast Bowler Muhammad Amir has been recalled for South Africa Test series. He was left out form the team in the recently concluded series against New Zealand in the United Arab Emirates.

Leg-spinner Shadab Khan, and openers Fakhar Zaman and Shan Masood are also making a come back. Backup wicketkeeper to Sarfraz, Mohammad Rizwan, has also returned to the squad after his consistent performance in domestic cricket and for Pakistan 'A'.
