"Teefa in trouble" creates history

ISLAMABAD - Teefa in Trouble, featuring Ali Zafar and Maya Ali has created history in the film history of Pakistan.

Film was released on July 20 worldwide has broken all records making it the highest grossing Pakistani film of the year…so far.

In its third week, Teefa in Trouble has already raked in a whopping 23.5 crores globally. This is not all! The film has bagged the 4th spot among the highest grossing Pakistani film of all time after Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed-starrer Punjab Nahi Jaungi (2017) followed by Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015) and Actor In Law (2016).

The film also became the highest opening day grosser, making it the first Pakistani film to have collected around 2.3 crores on the first day.

The film, which marks ad filmmaker and music video director Ahsan Rahim’s cinematic debut, has even surpassed Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic Sanju in the third week of its release in Pakistan, with Teefa in Trouble raking in a total of 3.64 crores while Sanju went on to collect around 3.01 crores.

Teefa in Trouble, which partnered with Yash Raj Films for its international release, is running successfully in cinemas across Pakistan and beyond.
