COAS General Bajwa leaves a strong message for both internal and external enemies

RAWALPINDI - Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has left a strong message for the enemies of Pakistan both internally and on external front.

He said a new movement has surfaced soon after restoration of peace in the FATA. However, the enemies will not succeed,” he said.

The COAS said that Pakistan has defeated terrorists.

He said that the country is heading to peace day by day due to sacrifices of the martyrs.

Addressing the ceremony held to confer awards on martyrs and ‘ghazis’ at GHQ on Thursday, he said that some people want to harm sovereignty of the country from inside and abroad.

“A new movement has surfaced soon after restoration of peace in the FATA. However, the enemies will not succeed,” he said.

The COAS said that Pakistan has defeated terrorists.

Earlier, he conferred awards on the martyrs and ‘ghazis’ registering the stories of valour and courage.

Relatives of the martyrs and ‘ghazis’ received the awards from the COAS.

Two officers were awarded the Tamgha-e-Jurat and 33 officers and soldiers were given the Tamgha-e-Basalat. The Sitara-e-Imtiaz was conferred on 32 military officers, while four officers and soldiers were awarded the UN Medal.
