Pakistan Army intelligence based operation saved province from disaster

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army timely operation has saved the province from a big disaster as huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by the forces in an intelligence based operation.

A major terrorist activity was foiled in Turbat district of Balochistan on Wednesday, ISPR said.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, media wing of Pak Army, acting on intelligence tip FC  Balochistan conducted a raid and recovered huge cache  of explosive, arms and ammunition, rockets, IEDs, explosives, different types of weapons and communication equipment  being dumped in Goubard eight kilometers North East of Mand for terrorist activities in Turbat.

Separately, a joint cordon and search operations was conducted by Pakistan Rangers Punjab and police in Hafizabad.

The raids were conducted in villages Par Masoo, Par Bondi and Par Lakhan, recovering huge cache of arms and ammunition.

In addition, 12 Suspects were arrested during the operation.
