Government form JIT to probe into allegations of Sarfraz Marchant

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar has constituted a Joint Investigation Team to probe into the allegations of Sarfraz Marchant against MQM RAW funding and money laundering.
As per details, notification to form JIT has also been issued by interior ministry in this regard. FIA anti-terrorism wing head Mazhar ul Haq will lead the team while one member of IB and two members of ISI would be included in JIT. Sindh Rangers Raja Tahir Iqbal would also become a part of the investigation team.
JIT would investigate the allegations and statements of Sarfraz Marchant against MQM over money laundering and RAW funding.
JIT would be able to hire services of any provincial and federal officer while team would present its report within one week.
