China's Xi unveils plan to become world soccer hub

BEIJING: Chinese President Xi Jinping announced a project to become Soccer Champion in next 15 years.
Xi claimed that at least 20,000 Soccer academies and schools would be opened by 2020 and millions of people including school students would learn how to play soccer in theses institutes.
Officials claimed that first target of the plan is to become Asia’s best soccer team by 2030 and the main object to become world soccer champion by 2050.
Several attempts have been made to improve the level of the game.
Several European football clubs are also opened in China for this purpose.
Xi claimed in 2011 that it want to see Chinese team to qualify for another World Cup, host and win a World Cup.
