Corps commander Lahore meets CM Punjab

LAHORE: Corps Commander Lahore Lt-Gen Sadiq Ali paid a farewell call on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here on Monday.
The Chief minister paid tributes to the services of Lt-Gen Sadiq Ali for performing his duties in a professional manner as the corp commander Lahore. He also expressed good wishes for his future responsibilities.
On the occasion, the CM said the nation is proud of its brave armed forces who had written a new history in the war against terrorism. He said that the officers and jawans of Pak Army had rendered invaluable services for restoring peace and due to the blood of the martyrs, peace has been maintained in Pakistan today.
He said that wonderful successes had been achieved in the war against terrorism due to decisions made by political and military leadership, and added that this war is a battle of survival for Pakistan which would be won through the power of unity and collective efforts.
