RAWALPINDI – Chinese Military Commander held important meeting with Pakistan Army Chief at GHQ.
Lieutenant General You Haitao, Deputy Commander of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Monday.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, matters of mutual interest and army-to-army staff talks were discussed during the meeting.
On November 7, Lieutenant General Hans Werner Wiermann, Director General International Military Staff (IMS), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) had met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, matters of mutual interests, including regional security situation, were discussed during the meeting. The visiting dignitary appreciated role of Pakistan Army in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
On November 6, Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Ayesh, Assistant Defence Minister, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest, including defence and security cooperation between both countries and overall regional security situation.
Earlier on November 4, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the 226th Corps Commanders’ Conference at GHQ.
