Five civilians injured as India continues LoC violations

RAWALPINDI: Fvie innocent citizens, including a girl, were injured as Indian forces continued ceasefire violations at the Line of Control (LoC) by unprovoked firing in Leepa Sector and Bagsar Sector near Bhimber.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian troops as usual deliberately targeted the civilian population in in Leepa Sector, employing heavy caliber weapons. Four citizens, including Zaheer, Nasir, Munir and Shaukat, residents of Bijildar and Battlian villages, were seriously injured.

Similarly, the Indian forces also resorted to unprovoked firing in Bagsar sector near Bhimber, injuring 20-year old
Tania Bibi, daughter of Amanat Ali, a resident of village Gujrakh.
The Pakistan Army troops responded effectively by targeting the Indian posts, the ISPR said.
