ASF foils smuggling attempt at Islamabad Airport from two female passengers

ISLAMABAD - The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a smuggling attempt at the Islamabad Airport after it recovered heroin from two female passengers.

According to sources, the drugs were recovered by the ASF during a scheduled inspection of the female passengers leaving for Saudi Arabia.

The women, identified as Shamim Bibi and Asma Riasat, were each carrying 40 capsules loaded with heroin. The women were scheduled to board a private airline and they were going for Umrah.

The sources further said both female passengers belonged to Abbottabad.
