Blast in Bannu targeting Police: Report

BANNU: A policeman was martyred and 13 others were injured after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded on Friday at General Bus Stand of Bannu.
Police told media that the citizens and policemen were included in the injured persons and they were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu.
Police reached the site and cordon off the area and started collecting evidences from the site.
Bannu District in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is located close to North Waziristan Agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas where incidents of security personnel being target have been recently reported.
