PM Nawaz Sharif hits back hard at PTI in Chichawatni Jalsa
CHICHAWATNI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has hit back hard at the PTI government in KP.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated on Thursday that the entire country was progressing except Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his rival political party Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is in power. 

Addressing a large public gathering in the city, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the masses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were witnessing how Punjab was progressing with Metro Bus schemes.

"In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, they have shabby schools and dilapidated roads," he said. "If you want to see the condition of Naya Pakistan, look at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Peshawar," he added.

Nawaz Sharif said that the price of Urea had decreased from Rs 1800 to Rs 1400. He said that DAP had also decreased in cost in Pakistan as now it can be bought for Rs 2500.

"The cost of electricity generated from tubewells has also declined," he said.

The Prime Minister said that he was working day and night to develop Pakistan. He said that the state had defeated terrorists and that militancy was on the decline in Pakistan.

Regarding the menace of load-shedding, Nawaz Sharif said that the government will ensure that it never occurs after 2018.

"In 2018, load-shedding would end in Pakistan," he said. "Load-shedding will then never return back to the country," he added.

He announced a grant of Rs 25 crore for Chichawatni as well as the plan to link it to the motorway. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also announced transmission of gas in the city.
