Rangers arrests 7 alleged criminals: removes illegal water connections

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has arrested seven suspects involved in criminal activities from different areas of the city and recovered illegal weapons from their possession.

A press release of the Rangers said here on Sunday that two alleged murderers identified as Sher Khan alias Sheikhu and Zahir Hussain in murder case of Rab Nawaz were arrested from Madina Colony. Illegal arms were also recovered from them. The accused were also involved in other heinous crimes.

The Rangers arrested two accused identified as Kamranuddin and Rashid Shah Bukhari in a targeted action from Clifton area. Both the accused belong to MQM-London and have criminal record.

Three alleged criminals were arrested from Model Colony in a targeted action by the Rangers.

They were identified as Masabur Rehman, Mehtab and Asad Ali. Weapons and snatched items were also recovered from them.

Meanwhile, the Rangers taking action against the theft of irrigation water, has removed illegal water connections from canals in Badin district.
