FAISALABAD:Pakistan Youth team defeated Nepalese team with 56-16 points during an opening match of International Handball Federation (IHF) South & Central Asia Youth & Junior Trophy 2018.
The trophy started at International Handball Court of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) under the aegis of Pakistan Handball Federation (PHF) on Saturday.
Five matches were played on the first day of the handball trophy. In the first match Pakistan Youth team beat Nepal with 56-16 points while Bangladesh Youth won second match against Maldives Youth with 47-21 points.
Similarly, Bangladesh Juniors also won third match against Maldives with 45-09 points whereas Pakistan Juniors defeated Nepal with 50-13 points in fourth match.
Meanwhile, India Juniors fought against Afghanistan Juniors in the fifth match and Indian Junior team remain victorious with 38-14 points.
Five matches will be played on Sunday (March 11). In the first match, Pakistan Youth will fight against Maldives at 10am while Nepal will face India in second match at 12:00 noon.
Similarly, Bangladesh Juniors will fight against Nepal in third match at 2:00pm whereas India Juniors will face Maldives in fourth match at 4:00pm and fifth match will be played between Pakistan Juniors and Afghanistan Juniors at 6:00pm. APP/AFP
