24 security personnel killed in Taliban attack in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, 24 security personnel have been killed in an attack by Taliban in Farah province.
Head of the provincial council Fared Bakhtawar said today that seven army commandos and eight policemen were among those killed in Bala Buluk district.
He said three other security forces are missing and more than 30 insurgents were killed in the battle.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujhaid claimed responsibility for the attack. (AP)
