PM Nawaz Sharif reorganises PML-N in Sindh

SUKKUR: Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has decided to reorganise the ruling Pakistan Muslim League in Sindh Province.

Mian Nawaz Sharif held a meeting here on Thursday with the Shirazi brothers, MNA Ghous Bakhsh Khan Mahar, Nihal Hashmi, governor Sindh, Ismail Rahu and other party leaders before addressing a public gathering.

According to sources, they discussed multiple issues to regain party’s strength in Sindh. They also complained about the harsh attitude of the Sindh government towards them.

They also discussed the party’s reorganization in Sindh and pledged to contact Syed Ghous Ali Shah and other senior disgruntled party leaders to get them back into the PML-N fold again.

The sources said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on the occasion, asked from the Sheerazi brothers about talks with Asif Ali Zardari. 

He also asked PML-F MNA Ghous Bakhsh Khan Mahar about contacts with the PPPP leaders as there were rumors of his joining the PPPP.

The sources revealed further that these were only rumors and that the leaders reiterated upon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to focus upon Sindh and to reorganise the party  and address the grievances of disappointed PML-N workers. 

The sources further added that Mian Nawaz Sharif assured them of focusing on Sindh and said that he would reorganise the party in the province.

In this regard, he assigned Ismail Rahu, Nihal Kashmi and Saad Rafiq to contact Syed Ghous Ali Shah, Liaquat Jatoi and others.
