Indian Police 11 officers killed in Ambush by Maoists Rebels

NEW DELHI: The Maoist insurgency in India is picking up the pace once again as the attacks gave been increased on the Indian Security Forces by the Maoist rebels.
In India, eleven Indian security forces personnel have been killed and three others injured in an attack by Maoist rebels in the central state of Chhattisgarh today.
A police official said the incident took place in the Sukma district when the personnel of the para-military Central Reserve Police Force were on a road opening exercise. Armed rebels opened fire at the forces.
