Rescue and flood relief centers established across Baluchistan and KPK to counter heavy rain spell

QUETTA: Met office has predicted the torrential rains across the Pakistan in upcoming seven days. Authorities in Baluchistan and KPK have been issued alert by National Disaster Management Authority to avoid any unpleasant situation due to heavy rain spell.
As per details, NDMA has also directed all the provincial relevant authorities for taking concrete measures to combat flood situation. Baluchistan and KPK government have established rescue and relief centers across the provinces to counter heavy rain spell.
The Pakistan Metrological Department also predicted heavy rain spell in Sindh, Punjab and northwestern parts of the country. Local administration and Disaster Management authorities cancelled the leaves of rescue officials and employees.
NDMA also directed to residence of flooding areas for taking preventive measres in this regard. KPK provincial Disaster Management Authority also issued red alert to the offices of Deputy Commissioners of all the districts.
