MQM and PPP led Sindh Government started Clean Karachi campaign but separately

KARACHI: MQM has launched a Clean Karachi campaign to clear the dirt and garbage everywhere from the city here at Thursday. MQM leaders. Wasim Akhtar, MQM candidate for Karachi Mayor started the campaign at Nuamish near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.
As per details, MQM senior leaders including Farooq Sattar, provincial Assembly numbers and workers were also present at the occasion. Wasim Akhtar kicked off the campaign by sweeping on the streets.
While talking to media at the occasion Wasim said that MQM workers and volunteers are taking part in the campaign and the Clean Karachi campaign will continue for a month.
Both parties MQM and PPP started Clean Karachi Campaign separately after developing differences from each other. Wasim Akhtar said that provincial government is not cooperating with MQM in Clean Karachi Campaign by refusing to provide required machinery and other equipment for the drive.
He further added that we are elected representatives of Karachi and it’s our duty to make all possible efforts for the cleanliness of Karachi. He started to remove the wall chalking by removing the chalking of his own party.
Wasim vowed that he will clean Karachi within months with the collaboration of students, businessmen and citizens.
