Govt taking concrete steps for sustainable economy: Dr Firdous

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan says government has established a real road-map to put the country on the path of development.
In an interview with PTV, she said government is taking bold steps for a sustainable and stable economy.
She said government will present public and poor segments friendly budget ensuring their social protection as it is its prime priority.
She said budget will focus on the austerity measures as per vision of the Prime Minister and development of backward tribal areas and Balochistan Province will be given top priority.
The Special Assistant said fake accounts case was established against Former President Asif Ali Zardari in 2015. She said that National Accountability Bureau is an independent institution and the government has no interference in it.
