Indian Army martyrs one more Kashmiri, Death toll rises to 7

SRINAGAR: Indian troops, in Indian occupied Kashmir, martyred a Kashmiri youth in Bandipora district on Saturday, raising the number of killed in fake encounters in the territory to seven since Friday.
The Kashmiri youth was martyred by Indian troops during a military operation in Bandipora’s Gurez area. The troops had killed six youth during a similar operation in Uri area of Baramulla district, Friday evening.
Occupational troops also launched a siege and search operation in Vessu area of Islamabad district following an attack on the convoy of Indian paramilitary force.
One person was injured during the exchange of firing between the attackers and the troops.
Indian forces conducted a cordon and search operation in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area, causing huge inconvenience to the people.
Indian army personnel damaged several residential houses in Shopian’s Narpora area following youth pelting stone on their vehicles.
