ISLAMABAD - “I called him* yaar* (friend) and also advised him. I said, Imran, you wish to bring change with these people? people who could not stay loyal either to Benazir Bhutto, Chaudhry Brothers (of PML-Q) or General (retd) Musharraf.. these people are not even capable of staying loyal to anyone,” said Nisar while addressing an electoral rally in Chahan area of the city.
The former interior minister who is now contesting against his own party’s candidate Qamarul Islam in the constituency said that he is still ready to support PML-N’s supreme leader Mian Nawaz Sharif but not his children.
“I can support Nawaz but can’t please his children,” said Nisar.

It is pertinent to note here that the former PML-N stalwart Chaudhry Nisar is contesting as an independent candidate on four seats – two National Assembly and two Punjab Assembly seats.
NA-59 (Rawalpindi), NA 63 (Taxila) and Punjab Assembly’s PP-10 and PP-12 will see Nisar contesting polls on ‘jeep’ symbol.
The new constituency of NA-59 comprises areas such as Chakri, Chontra, Saddar Baironi, Adiyala, Rawat and other adjoining areas.
