SSP Sajid Khan Shaheed laid to rest in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: SSP Sajid Khan who was martyred yesterday in Chaman in a terrorist attack has been laid to rest in Peshawar today.
Earlier the funeral prayers of SSP Sajid Khan Mohmand were offered at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in Peshawar on Tuesday.
A large number of high-ups from the government were present at the funeral, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Peshawar Corps Commander Lieutenant General Nazeer Ahmed Butt, KP Inspector General Salahuddin Mehsud and Frontier Constabulary Commandant Liaquat Ali.
The martyred officer is being buried in a graveyard in his native town, Duran Pur in Peshawar.
Mohmand, the Qilla Abdullah District Police Officer, was martyred in a terrorist attack on Boghra Road in Chaman on Monday.
