PM Nawaz Sharif received 10,000 dirhams monthly salary from his offshore company: JIT

ISLAMABAD: The Panama case Joint Investigation Team has revealed startling facts about the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assets and job in Dubai.
The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed by Supreme Court of Pakistan to probe Panama corruption charges against Sharif family discovered a new offshore company owned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The JIT which was instituted to investigate the offshore companies owned by the PM’s children, has discovered an offshore company.
Nawaz Sharif who claimed to be earning nothing, was found out to be drawing monthly salary of 10,000 dirhams.
According to the final JIT report, the PM got iqama in Dubai in 2009 on the basis of this job.
The JIT also said Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz gifted him Rs.1.40 billion from 2009 to 2017; of this, he presented Rs.820 million to her daughter Maryam Nawaz and Rs.100 million to his party.
