PM Nawaz Sharif holds important meeting with Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held an important meeting with the Interior Minister Ch Nisar in the Prime Minister House today.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad.
During the meeting, matters relating to situation born after the Joint Investigation Team’s (JIT) report came under discussion.
Meanwhile, the prime minister’s business friend Saifur Rehman also reached Islamabad from Qatar.
Earlier, an official investigation into corruption allegations against Nawaz Sharif and his family had found a significant disparity between their declared wealth and known sources of income.
Sharif, who had previously denied allegations of abusing his authority to enrich himself, has been under pressure since documents leaked in 2016 from a Panama-based law firm disclosed that his family had offshore accounts.
