PTI govt fully determine for construction of Mohmand dam: Vowda

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vowda said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government was fully committed in building of Mohmand dam.
The present government under the leadership of Imran Khan would ensure construction of water reservoirs in the country, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
"We have made the plan to construct Mohmand dam besides other reservoirs for better future of the country," he added.
The necessary work including acquiring of land for Mohmand dam has been completed, he said adding that Overseas Pakistanis were supporting Imran Khan for construction of water reservoirs.
It is strong wish of PTI government to bring improvement in education, health, jobs and other sectors, he added.
To a question about awarding dam contract to the person holding public office, Faisal Vowda said that the bid process of Mohmand dam had been initiated during the period of previous government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), so no comments could be made in that regard.
He said It is better to ask this question from Abdul Razak Dawood.
He said that Imran Khan as prime minister of Pakistan was fully committed to streamline the system in the country.
Commenting on Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Murad Ali Shah's name in the exit control list, he said we had desired to take the people and Opposition forward for development of the country.
He, however said that those did wrong should have to bear the crunch.
In reply to a question, he said we do not have personal vendetta with any political person. The political elements including Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), are responsible of their good or bad deeds.
About Asif Ali Zardari, he said that the person should go jail due to reported corruption cases. To another questionm, he said we do not think that any relief was being given to PPP.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan do not want to give any national reconciliation ordinance (NRO), to any political party leader involved in derailing the system.
“We take the pride for streamlining the system in judiciary, education, health, media, and other sectors, “ the minister stated.
To a question, he said Imran Khan never asked about the personal matters or businesses of other persons.
