ICC Men's T20 International Rankings revealed, Pakistani players made major gains

*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan top order batsman Babar Azam maintained his grip at the top of the ladder in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings on Monday.*

Azam, who piled up 151 runs in the T20I series against South Africa featuring a classic knock of 90 runs in the series, was the number one T20I batsman, followed by New Zealand’s Colin Munro and Australia’s Aaron Finch.

Fellow mate Hussain Talat also gained 19 places to reach 56th position after aggregating 98 runs. Meanwhile, opener Fakhar Zaman drops a place to sixth slot.

Coming to Pakistani bowlers’ spinner Imad Wasim moved up five places to fourth position, whereas, leggie Shadab Khan dropped a place to third spot in bowlers ranking. Speedster Shaheen Afridi made major gains after he moved up 28 places to a career-best 48th position among bowlers.

Pakistan remained the top ranked T20I side with 135 points, despite a 2-1 series defeat at the hands of South Africa, which have overtaken Australia and England to third place.
