Complete shutdown to be observed in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD:In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed today to mark martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri liberation leader Muhammad Maqbool Butt.
In this regard, a march will be held towards UN office at Sonawar in Srinagar.
Call for shutdown and March has been given by Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to press demand for return of mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and another Kashmiri leader, Muhammad Afzal Guru to their families.
Meanwhile, the puppet authorities have put Hurriyat leaders, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik under house detention to prevent them from leading the march.APP/AFP
