Terrorism reduced to a great extent in Pakistan after Operation Zarb-e-Azb: US Intelligence Chief

WASHINGTON: US Defence Intelligence Agency Director claimed that terrorism has reduced to a great extent in Pakistan by operation Zarf-e-Azb and Karachi targeted operation.
However he claimed that ISIS and al-Qaeda will remain a security concern for Pakistan and for its nuclear programme in coming years.
He also claimed that Pakistan will face internal security problems in the future from terrorists and sectarian elements.
He further said that Pakistan’s nuclear weapons are increasing which may cause an incident or accident.
US congress estimated that Pakistan has nuclear warheads between 110-130 or it could be more which are aimed to prevent India from taking any military action against it.
