Ahmad Shehzad dropped from Pakistan T20 World Cup squad

ISLAMABAD: PCB has announced 15 member squad of Pakistan cricket team for T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup is going to be held in India in next month.
As per details, Shahid Afridi has been retained captain and Sarfraz Ahmad as vice-captain for T20 World Cup. Ahmad Shehzad has been dropped by selectors due to his poor performance while Khurram Manzoor has been given a chance over his performance in domestic tournaments.
The others players of Pakistani team include Muhammad Hafeez, Shoiab Malik, Muhammad Amir, Omer Akmal, Anwar Ali, Wahab Raiz, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Waseem and Babar Azam.
Some new players also have been selected by selection committee which include Muhammad Nawaz, Roman Rais and Iftikhar Ahmad while Sohaib Maqsood and Omer Gul could not succeed to satisfy selectors with their performance.
It is also worthy to mention here that Khurram Manzoor, Nawaz, Rais and Iftikhar Ahmad have not played in a T20 international for national team.
