Earlier in November, another PIA flight, PK-650 en route from Lahore to Islamabad, made an emergency landing after one of its engines malfunctioned during the flight.

The pilot switched off the failed engine and landed the plane safely at the Islamabad Airport. All 38 passengers on board were unhurt.
