ISLAMABAD - PIA passenger plane hit with an accident after landing at a Pakistani Airport.

One of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) planes has been damaged after landing at the Sialkot airport this morning.

The Boeing 777 which was flying from Jeddah to Sialkot was taxiing after the landing when one of its tires burst on a rough portion of the tarmac, causing damage worth several hundred thousand rupees. ------------------------------

Earlier in November, another PIA flight, PK-650 en route from Lahore to Islamabad, made an emergency landing after one of its engines malfunctioned during the flight.

The pilot switched off the failed engine and landed the plane safely at the Islamabad Airport. All 38 passengers on board were unhurt.
