ISLAMABAD - In a big economic development, Pakistan seek another $10 billion direct foreign investment.
More than US $ 10 billion investment by Russia and announcement regarding duty-free access of 313 Pakistani products to Chinese markets from January 1, 2020 is a biggest achievement of PTI government on economic front.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar said that PTI Government will bring economic revolution in the country. Opposition is resorting to misleading and negative propaganda on national economy just for its personal and political gains but nation will not be hoodwinked by it any more.
Huge investment from Russia and China is the manifestation of their confidence in the policies of present government. He was talking to a delegation of ‘Sach’ film led by Pakistani born British National and Former Member of UK Parliament Tasmina Sheikh and Director Zulfiqar Sheikh along with movie.
Undoubtedly, China and other countries of the world are making investments in Pakistan as they have not only complete protection of their investments here but also being provided with best facilities.
Pakistan is getting stronger economically with every passing day, while international financial institutions are also appreciating our policies and stood firm with Pakistan.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar added that overseas Pakistanis have an important role in the economic development of Pakistan and they are our great asset, adding that in order to resolve their problems, federal and Punjab government are taking measures on emergent basis through overseas Pakistanis commission.
Today Lahore High Court and subordinate courts in Punjab are deciding cases of overseas Pakistanis in months not in years.
With strict measure put in order by present government, he said, land grabbers or anyone are not daring to do any sort of injustice with overseas Pakistanis. “We will ensure protection of lives and properties of overseas Pakistanis,” he assured.
Governor said that PTI government is working actively for promotion of tourism and culture. There are many historic places with regard to tourism and foreign tourists’ visits to Pakistan have increased due to Kartarpur Corridor Project. We will ensure provision of security and other facilities to foreign tourists.
