Four year old girl raped by 45 years old in Bengaluru, India

BENGALURU: A four-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her neighbour Puttaraja, 45, in Kodigehalli. The case was reported in Tavarakere police. The girl's mother was washing clothes when Puttaraja took the girl away, saying he would keep her occupied. The unsuspecting woman, a widow, sent her daughter with Puttaraja, a daily wage labourer from Kollegal. Later that night, the girl complained pain and began vomiting. Her mother immediately took her to a hospital, where sexual assault was confirmed. She also filed a police complaint at Tavarakere police station. Police tracked down Puttaraja in Kollegal, where he had escaped after the crime. (TOI)
