Afghan President Ashraf Ghani meets COAS Raheel Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met with COAS General Raheel Sharif at GHQ in Rawalpindi. Both dignitaries vowed to work together for the elimination of terrorism. As per details, Afghan president and COAS agreed to enhance cooperation in different fields. Afghan President also appreciated the achievements of Pak Army to root out terrorism. Ghani emphasized to enhance the relations with each other and expressed his determination that both countries will jointly combat with terrorism. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has assured Afghan President Ashraf Ghani full support for peace and stability in Afghanistan. Army Chief also assured his full support to Ghani regarding the exchange of intelligence information, operational communications and reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
