Only two independent MPA elect in Punjab have decided not to join any political party

LAHORE - Only two members of Punjab Assembly have decided to remain independent.

Former federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Jugnu Mohsin, wife of current Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has decided to sit on independent benches in the Punjab Assembly.

According to media reports, both candidates decided to contest July 25 general elections as independent and they emerged as victorious.

On the other hand, both candidates didn't submit any affidavit before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that shows both will sit on independent seats in the Punjab Assembly.
