*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and prime minister-in-waiting Imran Khan has given a message to the nation on the occasion of Minorities Day.*
*He on Saturday vowed to implement the vision of the founder of the nation with regard to religious minorities. *
In a message on the occasion of National Minorities Day, he said this day marks reiteration of the promise to work for the welfare of minority communities dwelling in Pakistan.
“Our minorities’ love for the country is exemplary and unquestionable. They have rendered exemplary services in national life since creation of Pakistan,” Khan said.
He said Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah laid down the foundation of a policy about minority communities, pledging that the PTI government will implement his vision.
Khan said he had promised to take special measures for their well-being and reiterated to fulfill his promises from ensuring complete religious freedom to equal opportunities for minorities’ development.
National Minorities Day is being observed across the country today to highlight the contributions and sacrifices of minority communities in creation of Pakistan and nation-building.
