AJK President Elections: Schedule announced

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The election for the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be held on 16th of this month.
According to AJK Election Commission, candidates can file their nomination papers on Thursday (11th August) with the Chief Election Commissioner/Returning Officer from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Muzaffarabad.
The Scrutiny of the nomination papers will take place immediately after the filing of papers.
Candidate can withdraw their nomination papers on 12th August till 12:00 noon.
The polling will be held on 16th of this month in the joint session of AJK Legislative Assembly and AJK Council in Muzaffarabad.
