Pakistan effectively raises Kashmir issue with OIC Chief
RIYADH - Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Vice Admiral (Retd) Khan Hasham Bin Siddique held a meeting with the Secretary General of the OIC, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen in Jeddah today (Wednesday).
During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the occupied Kashmir and condemned the ongoing violation of human rights being committed against the Kashmiri people.
They urged the member States of OIC to continue exerting pressure for the implementation of all the United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir till the resolution of the dispute according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The two sides also reviewed the OIC-Pakistan bilateral relations and disused ways and means of strengthening the relations in all areas of common interest particularly combating terrorism, cybercrime, promoting education in science and technology and convening of conferences for the betterment of the Muslim Ummah.
