ISIS expanding foothold in Afghanistan: Afghan governor

KABUL - The provincial governor of northern Parwan province Fazaluddin Ayar has warned regarding the ongoing attempts by the ISIS terrorist group to expand foothold in this province.
Ayar warned regarding the threats the province is facing as he was speaking during a gathering on Tuesday.
He said certain circles are attempting to pave the way for the expansion of the foothold of ISIS loyalists in Parwan province but he did not provide further details in this regard.
The loyalists of the terror group are currently active in some parts of Jawzjan province as well as Faryba in the North.
