100 BHUs upgraded in Balochistan

Balochistan government is spending huge amounts to provide basic health facilities to the poor masses in remote areas of the province.
An official of Provincial Health Department told our correspondent in Quetta today, that a project of up gradation of 100 Basic Health Units to the level of BHU Plus and thirty Rural Health Centres to the level of RHCs Plus is being executed at a cost of one billion rupees.
He said work on a hospital project in Zehri in Khuzdar district is also in progress at a cost of more than forty-nine million rupees.
