TEHRAN (IRNA) - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced the firing seven missiles to the base of the terrorists following a missile attack on the position and meeting of one of the terrorist groups on Saturday.

The IRGC said in its statement, 'In the wake of the recent evil acts by the terrorist groups affiliated to the global arrogance in the recent months from the Iraqi Kurdistan region against the border areas of Iran by sending various terrorist teams, creating insecurity and committing acts of sabotage were trying to destroy the security and the calm of people in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kordestan and Kermanshah, and with the intelligence and readiness of the IRGC's ground forces, including in the past few weeks' operations in the border areas of Marivan and Kamyaran, punishing the terrorists were on the agenda of IRGC.
The statement of the IRGC emphasizes that the leaders of these groups' disregard to the serious warnings of the authorities in the Kordestan region of Iraq about the Islamic Republic's determination to dismantle their bases and the need to end the aggressive and terrorist anti-Islamic measures, the IRGC's missile unit with the participation of the IRGC's UAVs attended a successful operation in targeting a meeting of the filthy and criminal gangs and the associated terrorist training centers with seven ground-to-ground missiles.
