ISLAMABAD: Hurriyat leaders and organizations in Indian Occupied Kashmir have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the killing of Hakeem-ur-Rahman Sultani of Bomai, Sopore, by unidentified persons.
According to Kashmir media service , a delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) headed by Acting Chairman, Abdul Ahad Parra and General Secretary, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai visited Sopore and participated in the funeral prayers and expressed condolence with the bereaved family.
The delegation also comprised Irshad Ahmad Parra, Waheed Ahmad Gojri, Ghulam Nabi Rather, Khursheed Ahmad Dar and Irfan Ahmad.
Hurriyat leaders and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement in Srinagar expressed grief over the killing of Teheek-e-Hurriyat activists, Hakeem-ur-Rehman Sultani. He said that Hakeem was a dedicated worker who rendered unparallel services for the Kashmir cause.
A JKSM delegation comprising Ghazi Javed Baba, Mufti Mudasir, Haneef Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad and Javed Ahmad visited Spore and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members.
Zafar Akbar Butt also expressed grief over the killing of a youth, Asif Nazir Dar, saying unknown and unidentified hands are creating scare.
