Punjab government calls Rangers against terrorists operations 

LAHORE: Rangers have been called in Punjab province.

Punjab government has finally surrendered to the demand of the Pakistan Army for Intelligence based operations against the terrorists in Punjab.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Rangers have been invited in Punjab for limited time and areas.

In an interview with BBC on Thursday, he said that the Rangers will conduct an operation against terrorists and banned outfits.

“The Rangers have been invited for two months. Their period will be extended if the need be,” he said.
