National T20 Cup : FATA defeats Lahore whites

MULTAN: (APP) Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) won the Cool & Cool Jazz national T-20 cup match by defeating Lahore Whites with 34 runs.
FATA won the toss and elected to bat first but opener could not give a long partnership and first wicket fall at only five runs while second wicket on 11 runs. Umar Siddiq was the highest scorer with 24 runs. Bilal Asif 22 and Yasir Majeed added 19 runs in the total.
The whole team went back to pavilion with total target of 117 runs in 19.3 overs.
Arsal Sheikh, Qaiser Ashraf and Kamran Ghulam from Lahore whites took two wickets each while Ehsan Adil, Zia-ul-Haq and Kashif Bhatti took one wicket each.
Lahore whites started its innings and Akmal brothers could not perform well in the match.
No player from Lahore whites could stay long on pitch as Kashif Bhatti scored 21 runs, Ayaz Tasawwar 16 and Kamran Ghulam 14 runs. The whole team could score only 83 runs in 17.5 overs.
Aamir Yamin from FATA bowl well and took four wickets by giving five runs in four overs, Muhammad Irfan took three wickets and Muhammad Imran took two wickets while Bilal Asif took one wicket.
Aamer Yamin was declared man of the match.
