Israeli ruling party calls for nuclear bomb strike on Gaza

Lowkey, the musician and host of the 'The Watchdog' podcast on Mint Press News, reported that Tally Gotliv, an Israeli politician from Netanyahu's party, advocated for the use of a nuclear weapon on Gaza, a region in Palestine.

Lowkey has been actively using Twitter to shed light on what he perceives as Israeli atrocities in Gaza. Tally Gotliv is an Israeli lawyer and politician who currently serves as a member of the Knesset for the Likud party.

She gained notoriety for making provocative speeches, as reported by Israeli media. Previously, she criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for defending Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officials and the security establishment and justifying recent attacks by lawmakers on the military.

In response to these criticisms, Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued a joint statement rejecting the growing rebukes of IDF leadership expressed by lawmakers, confidants of the prime minister, right-wing media, and others.

This backlash came after defense officials repeatedly expressed concerns about the impact of some reservists' refusals to carry out their duties in protest of the coalition's judicial overhaul legislation, which they believed was damaging to military readiness.

Gotliv questioned the need for the prime minister to apologize, asking why the government should remain silent when top IDF officials considered making statements about their competence that could benefit Israel's enemies and undermine national resilience.
