JRL appreciates IOK people for rejecting sham polls

In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has appreciated people’s rejection and boycott of the first phase of sham local bodies’ elections.
The JRL comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement said people’s dismissal of this farcical exercise, which in reality is a military operation to legitimize India’s forcible control, shows people’s unwavering commitment to their struggle for right to self-determination.
It said, Kashmir only belongs to the Kashmiris and they will decide its fate and future.
Meanwhile, a civilian, Mukesh Kumar, was killed after an Indian Army vehicle deliberately hit him on Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch highway.
