ECP suspends notification regarding transfer of IG Punjab

Election Commission of Pakistan has suspended notification regarding transfer of Inspector General Punjab Tahir Khan.
Taking notice of replacing Tahir Khan with Amjad Javed Saleemi, the Commission sought report from the Secretary Establishment within two days.
The ECP had barred the government from making such postings and transfers in the wake of by-election.
